our society has been producing all sorts of anomalies of late, and i bet we'll see more unthinkable occurances in the future. that's why parents like me tend to keep children indoors and under supervision.. which is sad.

and after reading further u will find out that this is the 3rd car the driver has totalled...wtf

the clapping part was so out of this world...apparently the policemen saw this guy clapping on the opposite lane...then trying to be more funny he u-turn and clap beside the corpse...another wtf

u have to read a few car club forum to get the pic...the detailed one is in rx8 club as the guy who wack the clapper is there...

Guys, gotta be EXTRA careful & cautious when driving along the Penchala Link, especially the stretch from the tunnel onwards. There had been many single vehicle accidents (without another vehicle been involved). This area is consider a BLACK / "DIRTY" area by the tow truckers. Most of the accidents there are TOTAL LOST basis.

RIP to the dead... I personally had many fights with my friends and couple of times get off the car and take a cab home after back from partying or clubs....but this one happen almost at noon..

In actual fact, the bald tires wouldn't have contributed to the accident, more so when the road is dry. Bald tires would actually have more surface contact with the road surface. If it's in the wet, then bald tires would have been the cause.

The distance from the toll to the accident spot is not that far, something must have happened for the driver to lose control of the vehicle and slammed it onto a lighting pole.

R.I.P to the victim.

Judging from the pictures, sky still looks cloudy and the roads still look damp. Bald tires would definitely contribute to the accident. It's funny, wierd things always happen during the end or early of the year. Maybe it's just me...

actually, that stretch is very bad road design, the left long curve gets 'off camber' at the edge of the apex after that gantry point..

or

unless he was racing with someone else... that driver is going to live with a guilt for the rest of his life..

Not sure how true, but it was mentioned somewhere that this is the 3rd car he's totalled...

Tragic man. Looks like he was exiting the tunnel from Mont K to BU, lost there, and car ended up on the other direction of traffic after impact after the rear roof/top of the car hit the sign post. Hence the rear passengers were critically injured but front passengers relatively unhurt.

Also looks like a genuine type R, based on the paint between metal sheet layers on the roof. Also it looks like the trick OEM competition Bridgestone RE070 semislick type R tyres he was on. Useless in the wet but awesome in the dry.
