That may also entail looking at the pistons etc. Whatever, you have no choice but to go for a "heart surgery". If it gets really bad , you have two choices :- i) Recon/ Half Cut engine:ii)New engine I do hope however that it can be solved with an overhaul ie piston rings etc. I do understand how you feel but having gone through a bad experience all I can tell you that it happens but anything can be fixed so dont despair. If you have the service records of the car pls check the service history. I suspect the car must have been neglected. Pls share the history with us. You can get it from the service booklet which should be in the glove compartment or you can check with Auto Bavaria. Auto Bavaria can also verify you mileage by checking you key. The just need to place your key into a machine and it reads the mileage etc. Do keep us informed.</blockquote>
