Hi there...As maybe most of the members here already know a bit of me....But sorry for the late introduction...I did not know we had this forum until i read someone's thread...Anyways, where should i start...Hi, My name is Alexander Louis @ AL3DX,I'm 18 years old now,Born at Kota Kinabalu, SabahBorn at 6th February 1989,I'm now a college Student at Multimedia College,Taking my Diploma in Telecommunication Engineering,At the age of 6, i was looking out for a car that i uncle own,which in that case i did not know i was going to have it...During back that time,My uncle had a 1984 BMW E30 320i, which was bought and register at 1985,Back then, the car was super, It has not much rush, engine was fine,I really like the car, But my uncle had to keep it and borrowed it to his friends to use it and drive around and they went in an accident...Boy was that time the wrong event to do...After the accident, my uncle got most of the things repaired, just to be able to drive back the car from the work shop to his house...Years gone by, he kept it in his house for a long time,there is where the body starts to rust and a lot of problem came to the car,When i was 17, my dad knows i already got my driving license early and i needed a car as my personal transport.so like every father would ask his son "What car do you want to get?"So my dad knows that I'm a kinda guy who does not like to really spend other people's money, so i told him that i need a diesel car and hopefully a 4X4,I was actually pointing towards getting my self a Toyota Hilux Surf...My dad knows that I'm very good at finding resources, so i went out to town looking for a car... i actually found a excellent condition of a Hilux Surf with a 3.2 Turbo Diesel Engine... (BIG), i went to see the owner, i was in luck, he is giving it away, so i ask how much... he said it's around 10K..I was shock cause i did not bring that much cash...So i took what ever money i had and bring with me ( Around 2k) [i was still 17 ok]so he ask me my age, and i told him about my situation, he is a very nice man...I drove his car around town and really like it, i actually deposited my 2k just to pay a quarter, and tell my dad that the car is worth 8K.So i went back and i say the E30 at my dad's office...I was shock of that too...I ask my dad, can i still have my own car, he told me that the E30 was my car,so i said, can't i just change it... he was a bit off the chart that time, so he said...Like it or not that's your car now...So i went back to the old man the next day, and got back my money.On my way back the car was making a few funny noise...I got panic (Being a new owner) i quickly drove to a Work shop to fix the problem...It cost me 2.5K but i told him i only have 2k... so rather than saying, " Fine, but you pay me the balance on the next day" he actually give one of the parts for FOC... i was lucky that time... cause i had no job and that's was my only saving money i ever had...But anyways, the car now in my hand...So far there is still a lot of problem...Thanks for having this forum, i get to talk to people that has the same car as mine, and they give me advise to what do and what not to do...Man my college life is stuff, cause a young kid like me desire a cool car to drive around and being seen in...But although the car is damage goods...I still kinda like it and really want to spend the money to make it one of a kinda...So :thefinger: , uncle for letting it go... and another :thefinger: to you too for damaging it...I get to keep the car as my own driving car and project car...But still living in a country that cant buy New BMW parts from a store...
