Hi bimmers;I just got my 325i a month ago but was away for 2 weeks so offically driving it only for 2 weeks. I'm a Technical Manager from PJ and came across this site when googling about BMW in Malaysia. I was reading the lastest posts for about a month now and find that I have learn so much from all the sifus. It would be interesting to learn more about my car as it was quite a different feeling and handling as compare with all the Japanese cars that I had drove. I hope probably could catch up with some members in time to come to get more insights.Jeff

welcome jfree, ntmu... : )

bumpy ride? can you share your car info - ie which model or year? also on stock rims or changed, tyre size and suspension you are on?

You are right Baddboyz3. Yes it's a 325i Sport.
I haven't try to lower the tyre pressure. Saw some posts that it was also due to the RTF tyres.

Wuzzles sifu, mine is a 2010 model on stock 18' rims and m-sport suspension.

Welcome jfreee.....a lil bumpy is nothing compared to the pleasure it brings...correct me if i'm wrong...hehe

Hi JFT63, yes it a real pleasure driving it. Now I'm hooked but I noticed that the power only kick in when it hit above 3000rpm. It's not so enjoyable driving it slow. Any tips on how to improve the power even on low rpm? Few forumers suggest supercharger but I know that will burn my pocket. The car is still under warranty so I try not to mess with it too much.

wow... you just had it for 2 weeks+ and you are already thinking on improving low range power... u're my kind of guy, mate :)
Did you give the gas lever a good kick first of all? My friend had been highlighting how un-alive his car is when low rev until we rode on the MEX one super late night. Did a slow rolling start and told him to plant his right leg deep. I don't know what it is call or if it's part of steptronic but it almost feels like the car had a two stage on the acceleration peddle. Probably there for fuel saving purposes on normal drive so you don't drive the bejesus out of it at every acceleration.

If still slow, then stage 1 mods got to start de... hahahah :p
