yeah ... i think they are right, no more 528 in 2001.if u are getting a mech to check ur car, make sure they r using the original bmw software to run a full test. i learned this from my mech : if the on board computer display/dialog kapur and the owner did not replace it with original new (meaning replacing it with a used unit), you won't be able to upgrade you computer software in the future and by running a full test, the computer can tell you whether your on board computer display/dialo is original or used unit. it will cost about rm5k to have one replace.cheers.
