Hey anson2282 welcome to the club. So what model of UDM ur searching for? Anyway have fun viewing the forum. Alot you can learn here .

im targeting E60..
with the budget range from 100-140k..(better with M-sport version)...

do u think i hv any luck on that?
i also browse thru lot of ads and found that now 04/05 E60 is selling abt 135k (some with M-sport)..
just wanted to know...
how to differentiate that's the genuine M-sport version?

haa bro E60 is a good buy but not sure about the the Msport version. I my self is kinda new here. so have to ask sifu's here for advice. but take ur time and try to browse around for more options. it took me 6th months to browse for a nice and affordable E46 and i got a good buy. Maybe can refer to Irfan and other sifu's here. All very power one

welcome bro....dont listen to bro sharizat...irfan80 is a bloody newbie just like u...out of curiosity, why E60? how young r u? ....what ever it is, i love my E60 (i never own any other udm btw)...i like to reiterate, with E60 u'll get rempit and family....come to TT...the sifus will broaden up ur horizon and might help u to choose ur 1st UDM better....yup: i test drived a E60 530i 2005 (3 liter) last 2 weeks....the asking price is 85k, i check the insurance and no claim made....with 2 digit registration no....but not an M Sport.....i m still puzzled why the price is ..... all the best

i agreed with u...
sourcing a car is take time and worth it if get a good buy... :)

hi gendong, thanks! ;)

hi irfan80... ya.. u r 'newbie'.. hahh..
dun cheat me alto i'm newbie here... hehhe :p

im in the mid of 30... y choose to source for e60 is bcoz i just had my baby and wanna be 'good family man'...
but my 'rempit devil' asking me to get some rempit maching... hahaha...

in fact i'm so interested on the car that u test drive.. i also wondering how come 85k?!
would it be continue loan...??

and btw... while i browse thru 'maintenance thread'...
seems like all the maintenance the forumers done > 1k++

and most of them only done on brake pad, brake fluid, engine oil , brake cable, ....but cost that much?
just wondering is those maintenance price is a MUST to spend...?

If u want to see the car I can bring u.....if u don't mind a 3.0 lit car....it is in sunway......u can bring ur mechanic to check.....I got no connection what so ever to the car or the owner....mtce: I did normal service rm580 ....many say mahal can get cheaper....I change ATF rm1400 many say mahal n can get cheaper.....hihihi....is just matter of sending ur car to the the place or mech u trust(capable)....DIY even better.....

Welcome bro anson2282. Good luck with your search for dream UDM. I am sure you will this forum filled with useful information and helpful gurus to help you choose and understand your preferred UDM.

When you mean GENUINE M-Sport, I guess you are referring it was bought from the dealer with the M-Sport package? In which case it should be reflected on the log card of the vehicle, or the service manual/history? Am guessing a previous owner who is proud of his being an authentic M-Sport would keep the history records to back it up. I'm guessing it could also be verified at the dealer it was purchased from with the licence plate number or online using the VIN number.
You could also look up what options were available for the M Sport and keep a look out for the smaller details. It's easy for people to change the bodykit, steering wheel, etc, but most wouldn't bother with changing to sport seats (since they cost a ton). Most of the MSport options were universal, but the smaller details varied country to country. So best to check the brochure locally.

But also take into account if you are planning to upgrade the car yourself. If you already plan to get an aftermarket suspension, or a new bodykit, then there's no need to pay the extra for the M Sport package.

Biggest Advice: Test Drive the car, and get it checked by a trusted garage. A well maintained Non-M would still be a better option than an M Sport that has been "tortured" by the previous owner.

thanks for ur info...
the car in sunway huh.. did u smell any fishy on that car..?
these 1-2 weeks i can't... cos will balik kampung for cny....
will ctc again once i'm back...

normal service Rm500+ sounds ok for this type of car...
but ATF for RM1.4k sounds a bit crazy... >.

The car has fishy smell literally....but the price is enticing....Sense something fishy?....with that price, ya is fishy....but I would say the condition is not bad.....not bad at all.....

hi devillian, thanks for your wonderful advice! ;)
save the so called 'm-sport' selling price for our own upgrade is better still... :)

irfan bro, aiks... u r poisonous me lo!
price sound fishy... but condition not bad... so how?!?! :pPP

i thk better dun take the risk...
dun 1 later lot of kacau kacau from our beloved gov officer.. (jpj / police / custom, etc)...

been dreaming to own an E60 since it 1st launch...
now financially okok... really wish to own 1. :p

but i will take it slowly to look for the best condition with best price...
