Or, just pop the hood up and check the engine! It's easy to spot an M52TU engine from the older M52 engine. You can double confirm it by verifying the VIN number online as well since it's a CBU model!

easy i think... single vanos has a bulge at the front of the longitudinally mounted engine, whereas the double vanos is flushed plastic piece. have a look at the attached pics. pls correct me if I'm wrong. Hope it helps!
