Help! Power window mulfunction!

To all sifu...need ur help immidiately! My power window (driver site) not function & after check pomen said that motor kong oledi....cost to change motor (chop shop) around 300++ bcoz motor come together with regulator (not separated item), is it true???what about the price???help...help...

quite a number of chop shops. Another one is on MRR2, near the seafood restaurant opposite of Lim Tayar close to Ampang Point already.

Sure the thing really kong? Had the same problem but thanks to the forummers here who suggested that i ketuk the motor it started working although slowly.

Then i opened the thing up and serviced it. Now ok.

Then i opened the thing up and serviced it. Now ok.

Wah..that's really work!! Thanks berserkdroid to suggested ketuk the motor...now the motor function fast,mybe stuck little bit....

To all forummers that have problem like me try to ketuk ur power window motor if still not working pls spend 200++ for new one,good luck!!!!

Yah, less scrupulous or lazy mechs often just say "broken, replace" cause its easier and more profitable for them.

yo guys... i got same problem la. mine only driver side can move... other 3 die already! any idea or should i ketuk ketuk also ar? is it relay problem? where should i look for before i send it to workshop... they surely ketuk ketuk my money rit?

Yo bro frenchy....u're lucky bro bcoz ur driver side still ok so no problemo to used ur touch & go..heh..heh...(hope u used smart tag huh), ok bro check ur switch 1st sometimes have stuck & kaput already...if ok check wiring from switch to connector black colour (but u must bukak cover pintu dulu lor..),if have voltage maybe ur motor will be die...to wake him up try to ketuk2 the motor in same time push ur switch up down....try it before worksyop ketuk ur money..heh..heh..good luck bro!!!!!

hey... i got one more problem. i notice that when i open the door all the switch light on but when i close the door all the light off! this happen after i send my car for aircond jobs... do you know wat happen?

Assuming you are driving E30, there is a switch at each of the interior light that have 3 position; 1. totally off, 2. on when you open any door and off once every door closed and 3. permanently on whether the door close or open. Hope this help.

thanks strider... by da way i'm talking about power window switch light. no light mean no power to move my window. i need to open my door little bit every time i wanna open my window la. it's related to what you trying to explain? related to door interior light? i'll it try any way...yup i'm using e30 316 4 doors. just change in! last time i'm using 2 doors 323 84 model. abandoned the car due to rust problem... use as spare parts also la. just brought this car last 2 month.
