[QUOTE="blackrobe, post: 441474, member: 556"] At the end of the day, as Daytona says, which I agree, it goes back to the point of enforcement. Me thinks its easier on enforcing upon a heavy vehicle which is NOT supposed to be there, than on a heavy vehicle which has a right to be there but is violating some other offence. As a member of the public we can see how many heavy vehicles on the road when they are not supposed to be there, whereas we cant see/know if these vehicles if allowed on the road are being summoned for traffic violations... most times, our men in blue are more bothered with other matters than stop to summon a violating vehicle, that too with dishonourable intentions...at least thats my perception of them...unfortunately. There's always gonna be development going on in the city centre, and the traffic situation as it is, it almost...no, it is definitely much better to use the LRT, but like all systems in this Country, it sucks as well, although its a lesser evil. Most countries use the toll to discourage vehicles getting into the city, but here, I laugh with incredulity that we have tolls for cars leaving the city. There is no common sense in that, nor any sense except to make more money... we are being robbed by legalised Highwaymen, who used to be hung at Tyburn prison for such crimes.... can I wish for that to be imposed here????
