Has anyone install cf look vinyl sticker on their udm

Salam and good day to all,First Of all it is WTA not wts,Im planning to respray the whole body of my e46, but due to budget restriction so i plan to do it next year. But my roof paint colour was dead already (became dull), n sakit mata ooo...So for temporary countermeasure im planning to install the cf vinyl sticker on the roof heheh, but i never see any udm install it on the road or am i being the first one :stupid:Has anyone done this before? And may u guys advise me on this pro n con... Thanx in advance..

I did my e46 only for the front+rear bumper lips, window trim, B+C pillar and interior as my roof is still in very good condition. Having it for more than a year now and there are still in good condition. BTW, never wax/polish the CF sticker.

ps: if u planned to respray the entire ride next year which is less than 2 months from now, don't recommend for CF roof as it's not cheap.

pps: bro, I think WTS = Want To SALE. Guess in your case is WTA = Want To ASK...

Tqvm bro e46_udm for the useful info, yup u r correct n its suppose to be WTA instead of WTS, typo error my bad heheh.
Now i feel relief a bit got to know others udm also installed with this cf look sticker.
Yup i planned to respray the entire body next year but of course not as early in january, paling awal pon maybe in july or august, so thats why been thinking to install the sticker first, and if it goes well and turn out cun then maybe i can delay my planned of respraying body a bit longer hehehe, it is because by body paint still ok but my roof booliaaoo oledy... If i can pos the pic here, did tried but still cant got thru...
Being quote rm 250 for the entire roof including roof spoiler... Is it ok??

as the other thread suggested, if u really want to go for the cf roof, then get those manufactured from 3M. taiwan or china made can only use for interior only. just my 2 cents.

im sure you'd gonna get eye sore as birds droppings may be difficult to remove. has anyone tried coating it with a clear laquer to look more like cf?

This is why im going to install the cf look sticker..... And as per other thread said, if i paint it black n plan to rspray back theroof then it will be not same colour as my body... So for temporary (1 year), i think worth it laaa.. Roof only for rm 180, ( same kedai and sticker 3m as my brother viva installed last year and rarely park with covered parking space) until now the sticker still look good laaa.. Heheh

And during installation....

After completion... & now my roof no more sakit mata already... Hihi

im sure you'd gonna get eye sore as birds droppings may be difficult to remove. has anyone tried coating it with a clear laquer to look more like cf?

i have a left over of carbon sticker from my previous wraping my calculator that i buy a couple meters long. will try to spray it with clear coat and post it up here later.
