The resistor value is suitable for 5W which is the parking bulb wattage. For your application a lower value may be needed and if the resistance value required is too low then the resistor pack would be huge and not cost effective. For HID I suggest trying the capacitor mod instead. Also check with others; InitialM since he also changed his fogs to HID.Cheers
