Guide in buying an UK 320D

For a guide I bought my car for RM27,500, including all of the above the total was RM72,000. That was with having maximum 35% discount on the import tax.
 
Honestly I don't think the diesel will be an issue

1) 530d has been on the road and haven't heard of issues
2) Merc eclass diesel has been on the road and no issues
3) Japanese 4x4 prado, Cygnus and so forth all run on diesel with Euro 4&5 compliance and they still run without any hiccup. The diesel quality in Sabah are worst and most cars there are all imported Jap diesel engine

Rest assured they'll run fine. If you're worried a friend from O & G recommends an oil change every 10k.

It's ironic that so many people are worried about the diesel quality but before i got my 320d I checked out many 3series and many petrol used cars had their head either replaced or opened as the last owner stinged on servicing the car regularly.

You're better off getting it from overseas and just maintain it properly
 
might have to change aircon coz European spec air cons are not man enough to cope with the brutal conditions here...

Dont have any problems whatsoever with my air conditioning system. Really good blow + cold.

thx haywire. mind if u calculate roughly how much will be the final price on the road in Msia?

wow. u got urs from UK too?

So u meant tat a car that had been using euro4/5 is ok if switched to euro 2?

Mine is local as the Beemers parts are now fully imported unlike before where there was a 40% local content quota. I got it cos of the BSRI and warranty and ease of mind plus it was at a good price

Argh! Recently there is alot stuffs to do. Its better to do the purchasing now or later? I still can wait as i dont have much time for the next few days (maybe 1 week)

dint have time to catch up in this forum too :(
