But no Garmin software can match the local maps, functions and info of the BMW Navigation Pro, nor how seamlessly it fits into iDrive. Recently I had to go into an obscure kampung way up north, in the line of duty. I was amazed that the kampung single lane roads were on the BMW map...complete with obscure names, when there were no road signs in sight! The Garmins had us in the bushland...Energy, the DVDs are copy protected, so unless you know how to crack, you have to buy the update from BMW.</blockquote>
