you've heard of toyota's AE86 with four throttle... you'va also probably heard of a satria gti with a 2.0 litre engine running a custom four throttle in malaysia... now behold... BMW M GMbh's 8 throttle...

normal cars... one butterfly to funnel air into all the cylinders... this //M3 V8 has eight butterflies to funnel air into the eight cylinders at different times... creates less air turbulence in the throttle chamber as each has its own... so more air to combust...

Yes, is just the air intake pipes, the plenum has been removed to show the engine in all its loveliness.

you are wrong.. Toyta AE86 never came with 4 throttle,its 4AGE TVIS ( Toyota Variable Intake Sysytem).

That era only the E30M3 S14 got nia.

I got one question...Why issit that only now BMW is using MAP Sensor? puzzled me la.
