Maxxsp and all, Both Sepang and Shah Alam ( & Langkawi ) are run by the same people. The Sepang karts ( walk in rentals ) are 150cc 4 strokes and the Shah Alam karts cadet rentals are 80cc. If you can handle the speed, there is also the 100cc Yamaha. I had been to a few karts tracks around australia and the fastest I had been were on the Yamaha KT100 J engine karts ( round head ) .....these were not as fast as the 100cc Yamaha KT100S karts ( square head ) they rent out at Shah Alam. I heard you can rent the same at Elite too. So the fastest walk in rental karts I am aware is still in Malaysia..... In regards to your brother's bad driving - please see how close the rear shaft sprocket is to the ground. The chain wraps around this......which makes it even closer. So if your brother likes to ride RIGHT hand bend curbs.......the sprocket and chain WILL snap when it hits the kerbs. They do get customers who do not understand that a kart is a racing vehicle, not a dodgem car. I race my own kart since year 2000, so please take it as I am sharing my experience. Slyder, who is your colleague - the senior champion? I may just know him.....
