The technology behind "Efficient Dynamic" goes a lot further than just converting from petrol to diesel.Some of the salient feature of "Efficient Dynamic":~ Engine stop when car stationary~ Kidney grille with motorised flap to shut when  engine is not hot to improve aerodynamic of the car~ Brake air duct shuts when brake is not hot to improve aerodynamic of the car~ Break regenerative energy, a.k.a. KERS~ Electric Power Steering, no power consumption when car moving straight as opposed to hydraulic type when it constantly dragging the engine thru the belt drive system.Okay, here's what I notice from 320d upon close inpection:~ Still carry a power steering hydraulic fluid reservoir and saw the belt driven pump under the aircond compressor <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite5" alt=":confused:" title="Confused    :confused:" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":confused:" />~ No motorised kidney grille <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite5" alt=":confused:" title="Confused    :confused:" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":confused:" />~ No brake air duct at all, if I'm not mistaken. A performance car without brake cooling air duct, my N46B20 ada ma!~ Does the engine shut by itself upon stationary? Haven't test drive a unit though.. Don't think so because to restart the engine, its triggered when driver press the clutch to engage gear, here all no clutch ma..
