I havent change this gear position switch yet. Due to i am not able to get the half cut spare part now. Anyone can recommend which half cut shop has selling gear position switch ?

Sometimes my car also cannot detect gear position when first switch ON. And error comes out from panel "Transmission error". Need to off ignition and on back. Maybe is the same switch problem? The mech say the sensor is outside the gearbox.

Then you ask your mech is it the sensor at left side of the car ? The symptoms is no the ignition actually will not trigger the error. Then dont step the brake, just press the parking knob and pull the range position switch(gear bar). If "Transmission error" shows at this situation then your problem might same as mine.
