They certainly know more than a thing or two about boxes. I can quote an experience a friend had and he would probably recommend that you do a "Re-build" of your gearbox. It's probably better than a re-con, you don't know what has happened to the box and cheaper than buying new. I believe a re-build is when they take the box apart, piece by piece. The they put it back together and replace on those that need to be replace, either worn out, or getting worned out. That's my 2 sen worth.</blockquote>
