Most of the Malaysian couldnt afford an electric car also another bull shitting. Why most of the malaysian will have this mind set is because Malaysia government not allow you to use it. If you really want to buy it then will be super expensive but in face is it very cheap. I watched a video which stated that electric car maintenance far more cheaper than a normal car and you can do research on that. Another reason why i said alot of Malaysian afford to buy electric car is because of this -->http://www.commutercars.com/ This is a 2 seater electric car. It can use it on our motor lane as well. The top speed of this car is 135 MPH. Use up to 40 to 200 miles. Typically, one would just plug in each night to a dryer outlet and get a complete charge in less than 3 hours and be ready for work the next morning. It can charge from any voltage from 100V to 250V without any adjustment. In Malaysia used alot of fuel to convert to electric this is a fact. And in fact if you buy a gen set to recharge your electric car for sure is use lesser fuel than a normal car as well. Meaning if we all use the electric car, the fuel which for normal car will be convert to electric and will atleast reduce more than 50% of fuel burning. And another fact is Malaysia is not only coal , gas, thermal and hydro energy. There is another energy call solar energy. We can use solar energy to charge our car and already got some models have solar charge as well.
