I thought this is good to know.Do you know that the handle of the fuel gauge icon signifies which side of the fuel cap in on your car ? i.e if the handle is right , the fuel cap in right or vice versa.

I read about this somewhere 2 years ago, and it's ture :p

Like my dad's Peugeot, the handle of the fuel pump is on the right, and the fuel cap is also on the right.

Best is remember where the tail pipe is, because the fuel cap is always opposite side of the tail pipe location, didn't read this which only means I pay too much attention on car details.. don't tell my wife because I can't even tell she change her hair style.. :p

This is my observation too, but then now they have pipes located in the middle or quad-pipes.

Ah! Quad pipes! That bring us to another topic.. ahem.. which concerning car design!

Now u all know why BMW quad pipes are located more towards the center of the car, to stay furthest possible from the fuel cap which located at the edge of the car, for safety reason. This I still call good car design. Now go look at how the Merc place the quad to separated twin tail pipe..

Back to the quad pipe question on fuel cap location, of course in such examples, u can't tell, but go back to look at the lower end variant of the car, like the E90 320i as oppose to the 335i, the location of the single tail pipe remain located opposite from the fuel cap.

Don't la say "lower end variant of the car." A lot of braders will be up in arms!

That's why some expected this and went dummy quad for shiok sendiri  :D

Nothing to be ashame of mah.. my E90 is a way over priced BASED LINE MODEL with limited functions, any lower, they will have to remove my ABS or airbags.. :p

Currently no rear screen blind, no front PDC, no rear reading lights, no vanity sun visor light, no footwell light, no external door handle lights, no DRL, semi electric seat no memory, side mirror can fold but must use hand.. :p

But hey, that's the lightest E90 u can find in the market, unless there's an E90 316i.. :p

Wah lau your car is not a "over priced BASED LINE MODEL with limited functions" it is a stripped down track monster that goes like a bat out of hell on steroids and Ecstacy.

All you have to do now is install a rollcage, NOX system and remove the seats, except the driver's seat and lose 5kg. You will be able to achieve lightspeed.

"over priced BASED LINE MODEL with limited functions" konon.

Salut
