Anywayss.... a search on these forums turned up no previous mentions... so here we go.  BMW part #51718413359 is a similar reinforcement plate for the z3 rear strut. If pillow-ball spherical bearings transfer more force to the rear tower sheet metal , I'm thinking reinforcement/dispersion would be a good thing? I'm just considering the kind of roads we have here.. And one last question..  If I grind away one side of the "ring" to fit the e30, would it mean uneven pressure/force transferred to each side of the suspension tower's metal sheet area? If so, would this have any ill effects in the long term? In all honesty ignorant and interested. Thanks.</blockquote>
