I was pondering the other day about what if, i can't find the UDM, the one that i like. I kept thinking it was the end of the world, waaah buying first car also think so hard till die, haha. Then the maker Ford came up.I bet everyone remember this legendary model, YES, i'm talking about the insane, the monsterous, the all awesome!! Escort RS Cosworth!! :top:but then, RS Cosworth wor, they don't produce it here in Malaysia, its a rare model, spare parts got problem, and so far I dont see any model on our roads today... what are the chances of one in Malaysia? I've spoke too soon.http://www.syiok.com/classifieds/detail.php?id=7692waaaa!! the price tag!! but the Cosworth has been my dream car  (along with the M3 ) all along. But with all those downsides, shoud I just walk away and raise the white flag, stop searching for it?? also, anyone know anyone whos owns or willing to sell a Cossie here??

I believe there are 2 Escort RS Cosworth in Malaysia, one of which used to be own by Speedworks. I could be wrong though.

I had a friend who owned one back during my college days. I remember him waiting for months on ends for spare parts once when his car broke down.

I do agree though that it is a great car. Another one of those timeless designs which still looks great even till today.

that whale tail design was just perfect for the Cossie, i love it!

when put on the track with an M3, straight line acceleration, the Cossie would smoke the M3, but on a twisty circuit, the M3 would win.

But one thing that I really love about the Cossie is the engine and the chassic, although its not its not as perfect as the E30 M3, but the 2L engine can be tuned to 1000BHP with ease, a 1000BHP four piston engine, and the magical Escort chassic (stock) can handle such power, it would make the expensive Veyron look "Unnecessary".

Arguebly the most famous Cossie ever, Martin's Reyland Cosworth: 0-60mph, 2.988sec ; 0-100mph, 6.174sec

hey sifus, how do you squeeze many pics in a post?? do you upload it into an image hosting site?

Yup upload it on an image hosting site then just copy and paste the URL here.

Anyway, I would go for the M3 but only because it's easier to source for spare parts in the event of part failure and such. I'd hate to have to leave my car in the workshop for months waiting to replace a head gasket :p

more practical and comfortable than a cossie. when ppl are young they will buy sports cars, but when married want to settle down, will buy a more family orientated car~
