Congratulations on your new ride! In my opinion, the first things to change are the rims and M5 side mirrors. The M-Sport kit is pretty enough as it is. Take your time to enjoy them before adding anything to it - like AC or Hamann for example - or even changing them completely like I did. Back to the point, 19 inch is a little small nowadays to be honest. But since you're a family man with wife and incoming kid (I got that from your other thread - congrats with the baby by the way), I guess comfort is important and the having to incessantly look out for pot holes isn't at all fun to say the least, if you went for 20. BUT, if you don't mind the hassle and want your car to look pretty, then 20 is the way to go. My advise is to change to M5 mirrors only if you have changed your rims, be it 19 or 20. They really enhance the overall look of the car and they look better with bigger wheels. Well...everything looks better with bigger wheels but I don't see a point in changing the side mirrors if you decide against changing the wheels. Just my personal opinion. Also, get the non-foldable ones if your car does not have that feature. SOme would tell you to get the foldable ones and wire it to your key remote so that they fold when you lock your doors and unfold when you unlock. I'm a firm believer of not messing with the electronics so I'm highly against that idea. Which brings me to the next point - new tail lights. Not only they're costly (as a few already mentioned, RM2,500 for a pair and another RM2,000 or so for a new motherboard), they again require you to mess with the electronics. Sure, the new tail lights are pretty, but they're hardly worth RM4K+ and all those retro-wiring if you asked me. The money could be spent on things more worthwhile (and more noticeable) like the AC or Hamann lips as I've mentioned above. Unfortunately, I just sold both sets of my used 19 inch rims at a steal, so I've got nothing to offer you, but if you're interested in 20s, I'm willing to let go of my Breyton Flame Sport with Michelin tires for a reasonable price. Email me at vince_skr@hotmail.com in the event you're interested. For the meantime, enjoy your new ride :top:
