congrats on embarking on your project. give her lots of love, and you won't regret it.

hi elclassico,
Very nice car, nice no. Even rarer pre facelift e21 you got there. I know it's your car, but I hope you keep it original,
and not be tempted to transplant rb20, 1jz that kind of thing.

Bumper overrider looks like it is from 1st gen Accord. That cassette holder is super cool ! hehehe

hi fm,
thanx a lot.never across my mind to do transplant with jap engine.pan-asian is not my game.but dream of m50b25 though..
lots of 80s style modification on this car by previous owner..cassette holder, switch for rear trunk pop out, power window(mitsubishi) & indeed bumper overrider are from honda accord..now need to find crank pulley for the window(any of u guys have it?).
will take out the bumper overrider & close the hole.

Can't wait to see the process and end results. I'm subscribing to this thread.

me also cant wait.but afraid i cant always updating the process like bro mizhan did.cause im working in perak & now looking for workshop in kl to do the restoration works.

Congratulation with a real shark-nose. My favorite 3-series, but maybe slightly biased here as i own one myself. Keep it original and enjoy the purring of an inline six. These are rare these days and will turn heads. Keep us posted with pictures and updates on your restoration.

Congrat bro, now the harder part is to find a good workshop for restoration that would'nt sucking dry your blood!....

Its true anakin..been visiting few workshop in KL but havent made my mind yet..any suggestion?

Will you be doing anything yourself, or will you set the whole restoration away and receive a fully restored car back?

Wonder hows fm e21 progressing..for the time being im looking for cv joint boot cover, handbrake cables rear disc brake overhaul kit.my mech still cant source it.Any ideas guys?

I dont think so tor.already stripped all the interior parts myself except the dashboard.seats will be send for re-upholstery,clean the carpet and etc.need to send to workshop just for bodywork, paintjob & maybe engine conversion.

Handbrake cables, I am pretty sure you can get at Stuttgart at Taman Megah. They still source parts. What engine will you change into?
