Just to feedback on my part, did mine a few weeks back. Initially, after changing the seals, I didn't drive the car for more than one week. When I started the car, there was erratic idling and the car suddenly died when i came out from the house (like there was hesitation when i press the throttle). Scanned the car and got the following error codes:- 1. vanos exhaust camshaft, end position not reached 2. adaptation value outside tolerance 3. camshaft block (something like that) 4. misfiring at certain cylinders. I cleared the error code with the scanner and started using the car daily until it reached the break-in period at 320 km. I scanned a few times and there were no more error codes. In addition, the slight vibration i feel every morning during cold start totally gone. Now feeling the low end torque and loving it. Really recommended upgrade for those who wants more thrill to the ride. However, I do noticed the exhaust sounds a lil bit "sporty" after changing the seals. Its not a bad sound, but more like a smooth flow type with low rumble of the engine, which I like. I wonder if it is because of the vanos seals or it has anything to do with the fact i changed the pre-cat lambda sensors at the same time. :p
