fan noise

I am currently having a e39 528 yr 2000. I realise that sometime during the first 1 to 2 gears, the fan will suddently kicks in, and later it is ok liao. I ask my mech and he says normal which he didn't give me a very satisfactory answer.Maybe our fellow sifu here can explain clearly

tay i've got the same problem with u as well..it happened sometimes when the engine is still in cool condition..it happened also when I start the engine ( this happened when the engine really2 cool or I haven't start the engine for more than 2 days)..its sounds like "keceng,keceng" belting slip or something like that..is it normal?hahahahha...

It seems like it is normal and i have even changed the fan cluth and it is still like tat. I was being told that my fan cluth was being "repaired" so decided to changed new. what i can say is that it sounds lighter and the pulling is not as strong....

me oso hv same pblm when change gear from 1st to 2nd. it has trak trak sound. my mech is suspect the belt tensioner. not gone fully check up yet. will check it when my servicing coming soon.
