i used to monitor my idle rpm often thru the onboard test 7.2. Last time my idle rpm is about 750rpm. Then at one time it went up to about 800pm. Just changed my cam sensor for exhaust side and noticed that it went back down to 750rpm. Just sharing what i noticed. Also the acceleration power is back too ! hahaha:burnout:

does it log any fault code when you scan your car? How did you diagnosed it is the exhaust camshaft position sensor? Thanks.

did your check engine light come out as well during the problem?

nope, no engine light. just that u feel the acceleration is not as good as before. Went to Albert WP to plug into his computer to check and notice the sensor failed. that is how i know.

How much the damage for exaust camshaft sensor with workmanship?

Whats the difference between exhaust cam sensor and 02/Oxygen/Lamda sensor? Is it the same?

Does your car vibrate especially during morning cold start?

have u tried clear the error?

bro...when the exhaust cam sensor was faulty it was not able to detect the vanos issue.the vanos issue was there all the while.have you had yr vanos seals replaced yet?if you have not,i suggest you do it.if your car feels powderful now,it will be bedak sejuk ful even more after the vanos seal change........
