An advice to all new BMW owners. Head straight to alignment shop to inspect your alignment after collecting your car from showroom. All new BMW are factory filled with excessive tyre prssure to prevent them from having flat spots due to prolong period of parking at the car storage yard. There's a PDI (pre-delivery inspection) checklist and tyre pressure is one of the item. Dealer simply tick and never really check. It happened to me 7 years ago and it is still happening. My car still go straight eventhough excessive tyre pressure. But only notice excessive Tyre wear on one of my rear tyre due to wrong camber. Damaged my one my my RFT tyres.. expensive lesson, I went back to the dealer and demanded the dealer to inspect and rectify my camber issue. Dealer say alignment warranty only covered for 2 weeks, finally I made the sales person paid for my alignment job at a near by tyre shop but damage was done.
