It's so good at cutting down heat that it cuts off 99.9% of infrared, which unfortunately is what our old smart tag uses to detect the gate remotely. If you keep the battery fresh and push hard against the 3M tinted windscreen it will work ok. Most popular brands I would say behave more or less the same in terms of heat rejection especially if you leave the tinted car baked under the sun for more than 30 mins. It's gonna be baking hot for sure. Nothing special but I know Huper Optik is tag friendly. Having said that I like 3M even if it's not tag friendly.</p></blockquote><p></p>
