My two cents ... Which car you buy, what model, what brand, is decided by a mixture of the brain and the heart making that the decision. The brain will do the maths, see how much you can afford, how much it costs to maintain, how much its re-sale value etc etc. The heart is an intangible factor because what you want is wholly up to you. Some may want a Mercedes because of its name and prestige. Some may want a Ferrari because of its sportscar status. Some may want a Bimmer because of its sport and thrilling driving. It is a personal choice. Is one "better" that the other? Not really. If you are a loyal Bimmer fan, no matter how bad it gets, you will still want to drive one. All I can say it, if you can afford it, the F30 is not a bad choice.
