Sure, it’s been plenty of talk about it, a lot of work will go into it but the amount of rumors regarding the next generation of the F30 M3 simply outweighs both. Most of them have been dismissed by this point and while some still rage on, the main points have been pretty much cleared.

A few details have been appearing lately however there’s something considerably important to talk as they are biggies. The 3.0 liter-ish straight six engine was something we already knew and loved considerably more than the rumored V6.Turbocharged system haven’t been cleared up yet but the displacement is finally available. It will be a 3.2 liter, something that can’t be described as anything other than great.

Some of BMW’s greatest cars ever were powered by a 3.2 liter straight six so the F30 M3 has a lot to live up to.This happens with every single new M3 model but this generation will have a special “problem” as the Bavarians have announced something worrying. It seems that the F30 BMW M3 will use an electric power steering system. This usually robs you away of feel and unless BMW manage to revise it brilliantly, the steering may be… less than perfect.

Just curios on F10 M3 Power Train rumors fly over net. What the main purposed BMW Factory enter DTM coz they need to build New N/A 4.0L V8 Engine to complied & meet current DTM Regulation.... Audi with RS5 on the road..

Interesting. I have read over the net that there are some people are looking forward to a better F30. Well I'm sure BMW will somehow surprise us by next year but they must make sure not to disappoint again.

They say the same thing every m3 model... anyway that's the 335 they discussing. ///M is the benchmark and bmw will always maintain the standard of their halo model

..I really do not know, except what Im reading around, but it seems that its gaining momentum as a general opinion that all thos new generation M3's are not exactly what people wanted..

Heres a short summary of the M3's evolution..

There wil always be those who prefer thing as it is/was.. however BMW's journey to greatness over the last 99 years is filled with evolution and innovation.. constantly raising the bar n pushing barriers to create the UDM of the day. Do you seriously think the majority of people would prefer to hav say an E36 M3 over the E92 M3 if given the choice?

..well..evolution is a fine thing, there is no doubt about it, really..but when evolution start going in direction where whole thing turning to be simulated (cheaped out) rather than be real, things getting dicey .. if people having problems with squeaky noises or closing door or windows , etc, in a car that cost a small fortune, then i cant call that a evolution..and it seems, according to many reads from various BMW forums, that people who actually have it, are not happy with their buy..as i said, I really do not know, so all im saying is based on comments of existing customers from many BMW sites worldwide, and im very interested to hear how it will all be turned out..

1 unhappy customer in 10,000 is not even a percentile yet on a forum it seems that every bmw is affected....Do understand that there would be problems in first year models and owners of previous models would defend their car as better than the incoming.

The new M3 is going to be Turbocharged inline 6! on the same forums you have highlighted i bet i can also find that some wished that their car came turbocharged or supercharged.

where did you get ratio 1:10 000 ??

no where just assuming that there is already 10,000 f30 335i on the road... i might be way wrong about the numbers though!
