F30 3 Series facelift / LCI (Life Cycle Impulse)

F30 will be going through the first facelift next year. I supposed it will be available in Malaysia by end of next year.

Some said the engine will get change apart from the front bummer, headlights.

Headlight will likely be led just like e90 case. Another 1.5 year before our current f30 becomes older sibling to the lci. Sigh

F30 first launched since early 2012, it already 2 years, another 1 more year will be 3 years which is the mid way of the product life cycle. So, our car will become old model soon.

The new 2.0 engine fitted to the new Mini is producing 192 hp and 280 Nm, an increase of 8 hp and 10 Nm over the current 320i.

Mercedes C Class :

The engine range at launch internationally includes a 168bhp 2.1-litre turbodiesel in the C220 Bluetec, a 154bhp 1.6 petrol in the C180 and a 181bhp 2.0-litre petrol in the C200.

Another option will include a new 1.6-litre turbodiesel mill co-developed with Renault. Other variants of the familiar OM651 2.1-litre turbodiesel will also follow, with power outputs ranging from 113bhp to 201bhp.
The new C-Class is also the first car in its class to be offered with air suspension, Mercedes says. The Airmatic system features four modes - Comfort, Eco, Sport, Sport+ and a customizable Individual mode.
Mercedes has tried to create the same sporty look as the exterior, inside the car as well. The list includes a head-up display (HUD), Mercedes' "Comand" infotainment system, and an air conditioning system that uses GPS data.

Safety features galore in the new C-Class where driver aids include: Attention Assist, Adaptive Brake Assist, Collision Prevention Assist Plus, Distronic Plus with Steering Assist, Brake Assist System Plus and Enhanced Active Lane Keeping Assist, as well as Active Park Assist, a 360-degree camera and Traffic Sign Assist with Wrong-Way Alert.

I guess many of these so-called specifications may not necessary equipped with the local models. If do, their price will be very different too.

If I am not mistaken, the 328i and the 320d may get a power boost.

The 320d if they use the X4's latest 2.0 diesel engine produces 190hp and 400Nm.

Just a mild facelift for the F30 which isn't too bad but hopefully the LCI coming over here will get more kit. We're still behind the other two brands in terms of adaptive xenons and behind Audi with adaptive suspension and comfort access and a decent audio system. Oh and I hope they fixed that wind noise too...

Sadly malaysia doesn't get those options except for the higher end models

Yeah bro I noticed that finally the LCI 5 series has adaptive xenons when the E class had it some time ago and it's the same for Audi so maybe in the 3 series LCI they will include it as standard along with other features that were supposed to be standard when you spend such an amount on a car.
