Again, as I have posted before earlier, BSRI is a marketing gimmick that BMW sells to get consumers to buy their car without having to worry about the cost of maintenance or breakdowns. Obviously a brand new car sold will be able to run to 60,000km without any problems. Its what happens after 60k that matters. That's why BSRI is usually sold together with a 60,000km limited warranty after which you are entirely on your own.Quite an effective marketing gimmick as it was one of the deciding factors that led me to buy my BMW.cheers and peace out bros!
