Actually any car with direct injection sounds a bit like a diesel too... so i don't really understand what's big deal about it... anyway, while u are inside the car, you can't really hear much of the so call “noise"... and with 8 speed automatic i think it really makes the car drives smooth... like paultan said, it is just like 2 different voice...
