[QUOTE="sillycarx, post: 379658, member: 17377"] Finally, my engine oil questions are ALL answered!! I was doing research on this for a few hours ( damn, have to get more work done now!) and I finally got everything answered. Partly becasue I bought the wrong oil, I wanted the Q8 Formula Special 5w30, but then the importer only had Q8 G Long-Life 5W30, and just sent that to me. So, seems like many of the oil manufacturers only perform certification for some standards and not all, and it is very difficult to judge between them. Like how does M229.31 performs against LL04 vs V505.00. The answer can be found here. It shows the chart between all the famous standards. That way, you can mapped the some oil which doesn't have LL01 or LL04 certification, but has other ceritifcation. And you can figure out what is good for you! Have fun!
