Hi guys, as the title above suggests, STP Fully Synthetic engine oil (10w-40). Has anyone tried this engine oil before? What's the feedback? Saw a good bargain today at one of the spare part shops in Klang Valley (I believe they are an authorised distributor for STP products). What's the good bargain?...1 pack of STP fully synthetic engine oil 10w-40 + 2 free gifts (can't remember, I think it's a fuel cleaner and engine flush) at only RM118-00. Is this price fair enough? How's the performance of STP engine oil on BMW engines?Maybe those who've tried before could advise :)Cheers

Whats the grade of the oil bro? SM or SL? By the way please turn the bottle upside down and see any leak with minor shake... if the seal broke and it leak pass the cap then this is a fake oil

American oil is not regulated. So buyer beware... if you want cheap, try the BHP fully synthetic. Get it from the BHP kiosk, I don't think they want to fake their own oil.. :D RM99 only. Cheap! Cheap!

yeah.. i changed from castrol to BHP now.. it seem good n cheap too.

Not sure if it's SM or SL, I was at the sales counter of the shop to meet the boss for some discussion not there to buy the engine oil :)

BHP at RM99? That's a good price.

eh dun pray pray with oil la... make sure its LL04 compliant. our engines are have so bloody tight tolerances that if u go a bit off spec it will have great consequences. so beware la.. safe a few ringgit and then down the road spend thousands :)

Yes, I agree with bimmerdude. It needs extra attention. I've tried adding some engine treatment with Castrol Magnatech and see intermikttent pick up.
BTW, BHP RM99 is which oil? Visco3000 or Visco5000? are they better than Castrol?
