engine oil accumulates at throttle body

got bored, so i decided to open my dad's m20 throttle body on his e34. damn, so much oil accumulated around the butterfly, and even on the hoses. then i make some cleaning using a throttle body cleaner. end up with better idling which is good. the thing is, how come there are lots of oil at the throttle body. ? could the engine produce lots of blowby that exits through the pcv ?

yes, it is true.. u must clean regularly..common on the old cars..

Sifus.., Will this also affect hard starting/cranking of the engine??

my thinking is

huge blowby from wear and tear, faulty pcv
