Diesel gives you the best energy output per litre of fuel then petrol, so you can save more of our depleting fossil fuel.And knowing  the out fossil fuel supply is depleting, i myself believe that the future of our automobile would be hydrogen powered cars. Hydrogen can be easily extracted from water. And the only by-product of combustion of hydrogen is only water vapor. In which, water vapor doesn't harm the earth at all. This technology has been used by Mercedes Benz on the road in germany. However for this technology to be globally viable, engineers need to come out with a way to prevent hydrogen from exploding when there is a leak during collision. With that settled, i truly believe that hydrogen powered car is definitely the future.</blockquote>
