I looked at the OBC and it says 5000 miles left on the rear pads. Well the pads and rotors checked out (all within factory specs), they gave them a little clean and sent me out on my way. They said sometimes dirt gets in there and screws things up. I wasn't convinced but I trust my SA. So I left up to NY immediately after and everything was fine except for some instances pulling up into the toll booth. I was cussin quite bad to be in that predicament as high speed driving needed ample braking. But the brakes held pretty well for the DC-NY-DC run and the squealing has not cropped up since...</blockquote>
