E90 dimensions (in mm, kg) vs e34 (in brackets):Length - 4520 (4720)wheelbase - 2760 (2760)width - 2013 (1750)height - 1421 (1392)front track - 1500 (1476)rear track - 1513 (na)weight - 1505 (325iA) (1550kg 525iA)wheelbase is identical, and car is wider and taller. this suggests more spacious cabin than e34! ...but then again, i still prefer e34 styling...:)

Hold your horses before anyone ditch his/her E34 and rush to book the E90. The E34 manual shows different data from the bracket numbers provided by fandango.

Let me add the e60 (from brochure) as comparison. And watch out on the various width measurements. I think fandango compared 2 different kind of width measurement and thus drew the wrong conclusion.

3er, I agree. Compare e30, e36, e46 and e90 and the trend is obvious... until one day it can't possibly grow any wider because there's a limit on width of a car lane.

That's what customers expect. Pretty every car manufacturer is doing that. Yesterday I happened to park my E34 along side with a current model of Camry. I think they're about the same length visually, that wasn't the case with previous Camry generations.
