Evening guys... Whoever online now that can advice me on this problem on my E90 325i msport. Having this error msg popup while im driving in wet road to KLIA, slightly bumpy, and a SLOW drive.Start Assistant inactive - Car can roll backDSC Restricted - Failure of a brake pressure sensor.Soon arrive home, left it cold down for 2 hours, error msg is gone. then, after 5 minutes start again, error msg come back. haiyaaa... Hm... kinda frustrated when this is happening for 2nd time. 1st time, i had my ABS sensor change out. All i can is, one after another... :((

Better send it back to the dealer for a check......no worries if got warranty ! !

yea, going to send the car to AB sg. besi where i change the ABS sensor, tomorrow. MC for me.. no ride, no work.

search through out the net about this problem and its related to DSC unit which related to ABS. I hope i'm wrong! errgghh... plus have to travel to Kulim, Kedah this Tuesday.

:(

Bro, send your car back to dealer for checking. Should be covered under BSRI unless you bought from outside.

Yes, definitely a DSC/ABS issue. Our e90 N52B25 6 cylinder UDM comes with Start assistance, only unique to the 6cylinder versions, 4 pot does not come with it. What it does is, when starting the car on a hill slope, upon engaging from P or N to D, it will keep the car on the same spot (ie. the car will not roll down) for a few seconds untill you accelerate and drive off. This is the Start assistance feature.

Do let us know the outcome after sending to AB Sg.Besi. All the best.

Sounds familiar. ABS pump likely and need to be replaced.
If still under BSRI, you're lucky. if not, that's 10k damage!!

Meanwhile drive moderately - ABS, DSC, start assist, cruise control etc don't work

Wonder why BMW has very sensitive ABS pump, this is quite a common problem among E46 and some E90
