That's not because they are selling tyres but the reason is once a tyre is punctured, the punctured spot will the weakness of the tyres and when a BMW is driven at high speed, the tyre suffers a lot of stress and the puntured spot will the the first to give way! So BMW SC does not recommend tyre patch knowing the speed their cars are capable of. They however, do agree patching tyre is a cheaper alternative.</p><p></p><p>Oh yes, we asked question on the vanishing oil in the N52 again.. and hear different explanation than what Sapura told us!! <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite9" alt=":eek:" title="Eek! :eek:" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":eek:" /> Gee...
