Message: <blockquote data-quote="E46Fanatic" data-source="post: 223268" data-attributes="member: 81">I recently went with my collegue to repair this nasty chip he had on his front windscreen of his C230 V6 Sports.  It was a "half moon" chip right in front of the drivers eye view, and very distracting. The stock Merc C class 230 V6 Sports windscreen has a blueish tint, and rain sensor, and these guys fixed it till it was totally not noticable.  I was quite amazed at how a badly chipped windscreen can be restored like that. Do it quick before dirt traps into the crack or till the crack extends.  While we were there a 2 month old Porsche Cayenne (facelift) came in as well to get the glass fixed.  The owner, like my friend is too terrified to get a new windscreen (seals replaced etc) on his new car although he had the windscreen insured.  So he opted for the fix instead. Here is the link and map to the place in <a href="http://www.windscreenrepair.com.my/catalog/" target="_blank">Sect 17</a>.   He paid under RM200 if I remember right, and it was all kautim in 30 mins.</blockquote>
