I have no idea if this is the usual, as my current 2001 e46 has no such issues. it just goes from the get go. with this e90 325i, its definitely not the same response, and definitely not what i expected. it is true that once it goes, it really goes well, but why the lag issue? it rather puts me off, and i might just totally switch over and buy an X3 instead. i've read through this forum, but found nothing to seriously substantiate why it is the way it is.
