E90 323i Engine Oil and K&N Air Filter

Dear OM & Forumers,My Oil level dipped after 10k of last service is this normal, if it is based on the pic about how many liters do I have to top up "1"? Is it critical I top up at this stage or let it deplete further just above the min.Also I am considering to replace the OEM are filters with K&N filters, does it give a lot power boost of its too minimal.Thanks in advance.

Bro.......I went through the same........had to top up 1 liter..........did my 1st oil change at 10k.......at 17k......the oil level was low.......iDrive gave me a signal to top up 1 liter...........the boyz at AB will always tell u some kinda of story.......blah blah blah........changing the filter might void the warranty...........I thought of doing so but was just afraid that the warranty will hilang..........

Hi dude,

from my experience , you cant simply top up your oli til the BC indicated for top up.otherwise it may demage your engine.Pls get advice from AB.

The iDrive still says OK........check constantly..........when my level was the same as yours, it took another few trips ( KL to PG and return ) before the warning sign started flashing. Just bring over to AB and ask them to check.
