It was fully inserted because I could hear the "click" sound. I press the START button, an error message appears and says "key not in ignition". I took the key out, waited for 3 seconds, redo it them only it starts. This was a morning start again. Suspecting the key may be a problem, I changed to my other key. It has been 2 weeks now and the problem has not recurred. In fact the key I was using previouisly was the spare one. I changed to the spare one after 4 months to keep the battery charged.</blockquote>
