Research on the common problems for both, and wear and tear parts replacement, running costs and resale value... And not forgetting to test drive both cars to see which one u like better..... No point buying a car based on wat ppl say, u have to drive it to judge for yourself. Everyone has different expectations. the S60 has LPT (light pressure turbo) for efficiency without compromising on fuel consumption. BMW is going turbo, are u saying that they are less fuel efficient too?? It's all in how it is tuned...</blockquote>
