With all due respect fren, really, its not all about retaliation or harsh action. If I had done that, 2 months ago my car will be out of that workshop. My patience is drawing thinner by the minutes but being and 'old seasoned' person, I will try every legal means possible to have my cars fixed and have somebody accountable for the damages. To-date my car is still there lying idle gathering dust and rust!! The thought of my new set of tyres and paint job ..:(:(:(... My case may not be the first but I will see this through and make BMW realised this design flaw needs indepth rectification done for the improvemnet of the 5 series (diesel perspective) to justify BMW stand as a major force in the auto industry. They just cannot overlook this matter and have it sweep under the carpet. We are talking about a high-performance car here. True to what you have said earlier, "how can this happened even after full service is done there from the very 1st day?. How can the engine fail that badly? If the engine is known to be problematic and can cause major damage, why it was not communicated to me so that we can address the issue much2 earlier" WHat irks me most is the complacency and lackadaisical attitude of the service personnel in handling issues. So much so that I believe even with advance technology & equipment at their disposal, they are not competent enough to do the job, . There is so much to be desired there..........
