Yah, its bloody expensive to duplicate the key..My e39 is still one key when bought from prev owner.What i do now is to put a BIG keychain (preferably non metallic so wont knock the steering or your knee while driving !) and therefore chances of the key missing/misplace is slimmer..hahaha
