I had a warranty on my car and it was for three months from the date of purchase but I took it for granted and didn't send for a check up within that period of time. It's good to send to another workshop immediately after receiving the car from the dealer, as you are able to rectify any faults with the car. Plus, having a warranty is also a bonus. As for yours, do you have a warranty? If you do, then you should send to other BMW specialised workshop and inspect the whole car. One of the most expensive items to replace is the ABS. So, do keep in mind to check that when you're with the mechanic. Once you've inspected the car, go back to the dealer within the warranty period and inform them of the faults to get them replaced. They will want to fix your car with their own mechanics so do watch how they work your car and make sure that they replace the items.
